We would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to State Representative Steve Clouse for stopping by the Daleville Public Library and presenting us with a $5,000 check from the State Discretionary Fund.

We especially appreciate his kind words recognizing the hard work and dedication of our Library Board, much of which goes unseen.

We are truly grateful for Representative Clouse’s continued support of our library and community throughout his many years of public service. Thank you for always remembering the importance of our local libraries!

📻 Daleville Amateur Radio Club at the Library!

The Daleville Amateur Radio Club met this morning at the Daleville Public Library. Kevin Turley, ARRL Alabama Section Emergency Coordinator, presented information about the upcoming Simulated Emergency Test (SET) planned for October 31.

SET gives amateur radio operators an opportunity to practice providing communications during a simulated emergency or disaster—testing their equipment, skills, procedures, and readiness before they’re needed in a real emergency.

Interested in amateur radio? Come join us! The Daleville Amateur Radio Club meets on the 4th Saturday of each month at 10:00 a.m. at the Daleville Public Library. Visitors and those interested in learning more about ham radio are always welcome! 📡

📚 Friendly Parking Reminder

Our parking lot is reserved for Daleville Public Library patrons and visitors during library hours.

We know parking can be limited during events in the area, but we must keep our spaces available for the people using the library. Vehicles belonging to individuals attending activities elsewhere may be towed during library hours.

After the library closes, you are more than welcome to use our parking lot for nearby events.

Thank you for helping us keep the library accessible to our patrons! ❤️
