Yesterday morning I was interviewed at WTVY in Dothan.

Hopefully I didn't embarrass anyone regarding amateur radio.

WTVY News 4 covers local news, daily newscasts as well as severe weather coverage for the Wiregrass Region in southeast Alabama, including Dothan, Alabama and surrounding area.

Such an exciting morning! Today, Mr. Carl Rippe organized a testing session at the Daleville Public Library where three clubs were represented: Enterprise, Daleville, and Dothan. During this joint effort, 6 candidates arrived ready to test, and all 6 passed! Congratulations to the 2 new Technicians, one of whom tested up to General, and the 4 license upgrades!

Reminder:
In-person license testing is 10 January at the Daleville Public Library on Donnell Blvd. Setup and registration is at 1000 and testing begins at 1030.

Our regular monthly meeting is 24 January at 1000 and we will collect annual membership dues, $15.00 per individual or $25.00 per family.

DARC is conducting a license exam session at the Daleville Public Library on January 10, 2026.

Arrive at 10:00am and testing will begin promptly at 10:30am.

Please bring valid identification, your FRN (FCC Registration Number) and $15.00 testing fee.

Seating is limited to 8 participants.

After passing the first exam, testing for the next-level exam is no extra cost during the same session.
