Attention Horse & Horse Facility Owners 📢

Due to a recent event where we were unable to assist with an end-of-life call deep in SWVA
(Our 2 hr drive one-way not financially feasible for client) and none of our colleagues were available on a weekend, we would like to hear from you about companies you have personally used for on-site horse/livestock burial who were compassionate & respectful. 🐎

Please comment or PM us reputable companies in VA we can add to our resource list when we are unable to assist in person.

Look at this beautiful girl! She and her little old donkey friend need a home ASAP. Their person passed and they need to find a caring home.

Maggie is looking for her forever home.

This sweet 23yo, molly mule has never met a stranger and is looking for someone she can entertain with her antics and persistent charm.

Her owner passed away last spring and she has been living out in a field with a small herd that all need to find their new home. Maggie is easy to halter and handles well for a mule. She gets along well with mares and geldings and has no known medical issues.

Thanks Virginia Horse Industry Board !

We held our first Virginia Animal Control Officer training last month at Brook Hill Farm! It was hot but that didn't stop us from having 17 ACO's, veterinary students and other horse community members learn about equine handling, nutrition, BCS and basic care. Thanks to the Virginia Horse Industry Board for funding this training!

Be aware... Adequan recall for 2 lots...

The manufacturer of Adequan has issued a recall for two lots of the equine version of the injectable arthritis treatment, as well as two lots of the canine version, due to potential contamination. See link in comments for details.
