Omnah Adoption Support

The Omnah Foundation is a Christian non-profit providing adoption grants so more children can grow up in loving, Christ-centered families.

The Omnah Foundation exists to support Christian families by helping them to afford adoption and to bring children into permanent families where they will hear the gospel and see their parents loving Christ and each other. The Hebrew word Omnah found in Esther 2:20 means brought up, rearing, training, and providing for. As the name suggests, the mission of the foundation is to come along side fami

lies to help them bring children needing a family into homes where they will be brought up in the faith, reared and trained in righteousness, and provided for spiritually, emotionally and physically. Adoption is expensive, often costing between $30,000-$50,000. The financial burden of adoption is one of the leading reasons why many families who want to adopt are unable to do so. The Omnah Foundation offers financial grants and no-interest loans to Christian families as well as fundraising resources, encouragement, and prayer support. The grants and no-interest loans are made possible through donor giving, and because Omnah’s operation expenses are covered through sponsors, 100% of donations received go directly toward the adoption expenses of Christian families. Once monies are connected with a particular family, the Foundation reaches out to let donors know more about the children and families they helped to unite. Additional ways you can partner with adoptive families and the Omnah Foundation include being part of the prayer team, supporting through monthly giving, helping with adoptive family care, and by becoming a volunteer. These numbers stop a lot of families before they start.Those numbers stop a lot of families before they start. A home study, agency and placement fees, court and legal costs, they add up to a wall most can't climb alone.
That wall is why Omnah exists.

We help Christian families close the gap so a child can be welcomed home. The help comes from people giving a little each month through our Omnah Impact Circles, and from families who once received help and now give forward into the next adoption.

A child isn't waiting on a number. A child is waiting on a family.

Today the world celebrates International Day of Families.
We celebrate something a little different - the families that almost didn’t get to exist.  The ones who waited years.  Who emptied savings accounts.  Who refused to give up on a child they hadn’t yet met. 
Every family in our community is proof that “family” isn’t always built the way you expect. Sometimes it’s built across oceans. Sometimes across courtrooms. Sometimes across years of prayer. 
But always - always - it’s worth it.

There are families who feel called to adoption… and then there’s the moment they choose to say yes, even when the road ahead feels uncertain.
For the White family, adoption had been on their hearts for a long time. In 2023, they stepped forward in faith and began the process - trusting God with every unknown ahead.
They were told the wait could take up to 3 years.
Nine months later, they got the call.
Just two hours after their daughter was born, they were holding her in their arms.
But stories like this don’t happen without sacrifice, prayer, and generous people willing to help carry the burden.
The financial hurdle of adoption is real. The waiting is hard. But through it all, the Whites watched God provide every need - often through the generosity of others.
This is why Omnah exists.
To help remove financial barriers, support families through the journey, and help bring children home.

Because somewhere right now, another family is praying for the same miracle the Whites are now holding in their arms.

God does not call His people into obedience and leave them there alone.
He is faithful to sustain what He begins.

For families pursuing adoption, that promise matters.
The road can feel long. The costs can feel heavy. The unknowns can feel overwhelming.

But the One who calls is faithful.

We’ve seen Him provide through generous donors, open doors that looked shut, and bring children home through what seemed impossible.
