Hortonville Community Food Pantry, Inc. Hortonville Community Food Pantry & Helping 2nd Hands thrift store distribute food and clothing. Residents of Outagamie, Waupaca, Waushara and Shawano Counties.

Eligibility Requirements:

Working/non-working families with an income below the national poverty level (depending on family size)

Elderly, disabled and/or temporarily distressed - those who are not eligible for other assistance programs. A Social Security card is needed for each person in the family and proof of total family income. Hours of operation when food is distributed is Wednesday from

10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m., and then again from 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. Helping 2nd Hands is a thrift shop adjacent to the food pantry and open to the general public, where gently used clothing and household items can be purchased at a minimal cost.

Due to the inclement weather conditions, the food pantry is closed today. Pantry will reopen on Wednesday 1/7 during normal business hours. Happy New Year!

Due to the inclement weather, the pantry is closed today. The rule of thumb is if Hortonville schools are closed, the pantry will be closed. Merry Christmas.

Due to the fact that Christmas Eve and New Year's eve are on Wednesdays of this year, distribution will be moved to the prior Monday. Food distribution will be on Monday December 22nd and Monday December 29th during their normal hours. Any questions, please ask the staff at your next visit. Schedule returns to normal after the New Years Holiday. Hope all of you had a great thanksgiving, and have a most blessed Advent/Christmas season!

Special thanks to all the Scouts who collected an amazing amount of food for the pantry. Estimates range from 7500 - 8000 items! Thanks to all the leaders and donors for making this event an amazing success!! We are so blessed to have tremendous support in our community for our neighbors in need! God Bless all of you!

We're starting our annual fundraising drive in early October. Many folks continue to support our cause, and have been the foundation of our success in helping our brothers and sisters in need. U.S. food insecurity rises as more families are struggling with the higher food prices and economic struggles of our current economy. We're serving more families due to these issues, and are providing the helping hand these families desperately need. If you can assist with our mission in helping the families in need in our communities, please prayerfully consider supporting our cause. Monetary donations can be sent to HFP, P.O. Box 236, Dale WI 54931, or dropped off at any Wolf River Community Bank location. Special thanks to our friends from St. Mary's and Christus Church in Greenville, and St. Peter & Paul and Alliance Church in Hortonville for their generous donations of school supplies. Approximately 120 backpacks were stuffed with the needed supplies and distributed in August for Pantry families, and to children in need in the school district of Greenville & Hortonville. Thanks to Wendy, Caroline, Matthew, Erin, Jason, Bruce, Cindy, Paul & Joe for assembling and issuing the backpacks. The Food Pantry is blessed with many supporters whose generosity allows us to do many wonderful things! God Bless!

To our valued clients at the Hortonville Food Pantry, please see the updated registration/renewal requirements that are effective 8/22/25. These requirements were in place prior to the covid experience. Hope everyone is having a great summer.
