Scouts are known worldwide for being helpful, their cheerful demeanor, resourcefulness and their constant efforts to lead by example, especially in caring for the environment. helps Scouts to continue the efforts to lead others in Leave No Trace and beyond.
Today is Earth Day, an annual global event focused on raising awareness and encouraging action to protect the environment.
Outdoor Ethics Guides help troops build strong, responsible outdoor habits in every adventure.
They support Scouts in learning and practicing the Outdoor Code, Leave No Trace, and Tread Lightly! principles while hiking, camping, and enjoying the outdoors. The focus is on making good choices that protect nature and reduce impact.
They also help Scouts working toward Tenderfoot, Second Class, and First Class by reinforcing these skills in real outdoor settings.
Responsibilities include:

🧭 Setting a strong example for others
👕 Wearing the uniform correctly
