What an awesome MLK Program on last evening, January 14. Words can not express my gratitude to all participants. You all were awesome! Because of you, MLK was celebrated with historical information, with songs of honor and with thankful hearts. The members and I look forward to next year's program; same time and date. Piney Woods Civic Club member, Jeanette William Doddy visited nursing centers: Windsor Place, Hughes Springs and Grace Hill today, and delivered fruit baskets and beautiful plants to show PWCC appreciation to their essential workers. Thank you for your services to the residents of each nursing center. God bless you all.

PWCC members, Cynthia Hayden and Linda Rhymes' supports the students at Daingerfield Junior High School. School supplies were donated and presented at DJHS to Mr. Johnson, Principal today (08-19-2022). PWCC along with other organizations have assured that students attending DLSISD will have the supplies they need for the 2022-23 school year. Must success for all students!

Piney Woods Civic Club Members, Jeanette William Doddy and Diann Turner supports South Elementary students with various school supplies and clothing today (08-17-2022). This will help students at South Elementary to Prepare for Life and Rise to the Star for 2022-23 at DLSISD! Go Tigers!!

Piney Woods Civic Club Annual Fan Drive still on the move. We're adding six additional fans with a total of 40 fans donated to the CLSC. The deadline for our fan drive ends June 30. Thanks to all for your generous donations.

Our annual summer fan drive is going great! We delivered 34 fans to the Christian Life Service Center on yesterday, 06-22-22 to assist the elderly and others in need of a fan due to the hot temperature(s).
The fan drive will officially end June 30. If you know of anyone in need of a fan please contact CLSC at 903-645-5510.
We are grateful to everyone who donated a fan to our Annual Fan Drive.
