It's also a great reminder for caregivers to stay engaged and know who your children are spending time with, monitor their online activity, and keep communication open. When children know they have trusted adults who will listen and support them, they're better equipped to stay safe. ☀️💙

Before you know it, the first day of school will be here on August 3! 📚✏️

Now is a great time to get a head start on back-to-school shopping and take advantage of summer sales. The Lumpkin County School System School Supply Lists for the 2026-2027 school year are now available for students in grades K-12. Stocking up early can help families spread out expenses and ensure students are ready to start the year prepared for success.

Rain couldn’t stop the fun at our 3rd Annual Bridge to Summer Celebration! 🌧️☀️

A huge THANK YOU to our incredible community, volunteers, sponsors, and partner organizations who helped make this free family event such a success. But a HUGE extra thank you The Bridge Church Dahlonega for hosting the event and proividing all of the food and snacks! Because of your support, families from across Lumpkin County enjoyed an afternoon filled with games, crafts, snacks, inflatable fun, giveaways, and connections to valuable summer resources for kids and families.

One of the highlights of the day was giving away a FREE week of Summer Camp from The Bridge Church to one lucky kiddo! 🎉

We are especially grateful to everyone who came out despite the rainy weather and helped create such a joyful, welcoming atmosphere. Events like this remind us how strong and connected our community truly is. 💚
