If anyone is talented in tiling bathroom floors we would love help with that too!

We have been a little MIA from social media lately, but only because we have been working nonstop on the new building! It has been exhausting, exciting, and incredibly rewarding to see so much progress happening every day.

We have so many new photos and updates coming soon, but before we share all of that, we wanted to take a moment to thank our volunteers. None of this would be possible without the generous businesses and individuals who have donated their time, skills, materials, and encouragement along the way.

Thank you for believing in the mission of Northern Star and helping us create a safe and supportive place for these young adults to thrive.

Knepper Heating and Air Conditioning has gone apove and beyond to volunteer on multiple days to provide all our heating and air needs for the new building.

We were also blessed to be a worksite for The Torch Serve day earlier this month.

We are in search of a good deal on a used riding or zero turn mower for our campus. Preferably one that is in good condition and won't need mechanical work done on the regular!! We have a lot of grass!

🚑🎉 THEY’RE FINALLY HOME! 🎉🚑

After a three-year wait, two brand-new ambulances are officially ours!

Before you ask—yes, the wait was on the manufacturer’s end. Turns out, building life-saving machines (especially since the COVID backup) takes a minute… or, you know, 1,095 days. 😅

The good news? They’re here now and already getting their communications equipment installed, which means they should be fully ready to roll by April 18. They’ll soon be calling Station 2 and Station 5 home. 🚨

These life-saving beauties were funded by SPLOST—so yes, this is your tax dollars, along with those paid by our visitors, doing something very cool and very important. 👏

We know it took a while to get here—but good things come to those who wait… and wait… and wait some more. 😅

Seriously though, we’re incredibly grateful to our citizens who supported SPLOST and made this possible. These aren’t just vehicles—they’re rolling, life-saving tools for our community. ❤️

All walls are prepped and ready to paint. We were not expecting this cost, so we are hoping someone will step up to help the best they can!

Volunteer day tomorrow 10 to 2 and Sunday 1 to 4. Let me know if you are coming and I will send the address!
Tomorrow will mainly be prepping for paint and sanding and painting cabinets. Yard work too!
