Prayers for Randall Townley please. He was involved in an accident this morning on his farm and has some pretty good damage to his leg.
If y’all know Randall you know what an asset he is to Lumpkin County FFA.

Lily Johnson, a member of the Lumpkin County FFA Chapter, was selected to attend the University of Georgia’s Elite Stockman Program, an immersive leadership and beef industry experience designed to prepare the next generation of agricultural leaders.

During the program, Lily gained hands-on knowledge in cattle reproduction, nutrition, meat science, beef advocacy, and agricultural literacy while learning from UGA faculty and industry professionals.

Her participation reflects her dedication to the beef cattle industry and her commitment to expanding her knowledge and leadership skills through FFA and agricultural education.

The strength of our FFA program doesn’t end at graduation—it grows through the support of those who once wore the blue jacket.

Whether you’re a former member, parent, supporter, or friend of agriculture, the FFA Alumni is a great way to stay involved, give back, and help create opportunities for the next generation of leaders.

From livestock shows and leadership events to scholarships and community service projects, your support helps make it all possible.

If you’ve been looking for a way to reconnect with FFA and make a difference, we’d love to have you join us!

💙💛 Once FFA, always FFA. 💛💙

Jacob is continuing to heal but keep those prayers coming.

Jacob is continuing to heal but keep those prayers coming.

Jacob Update:
Jacob has had a good day for the most part. If everything continues to go as planned, he is scheduled to come home in the morning! While we are so thankful and excited for this next step, we know this transition has brought on some anxiety for Jacob. Please continue to pray for strength, peace, comfort, and confidence as he adjusts to being home.
Jacob has been working incredibly hard with occupational therapy. They have allowed him to walk short distances with a walker, but he will still need to use a wheelchair for longer distances. He currently has a boot on each leg as he continues to heal and regain his strength.
Jacob is so thankful and humbled by every prayer, visit, donation, phone call, text message, and every act of kindness shown to him and our family. We truly cannot thank everyone enough for the love and support you have continued to pour out during this journey.

Please keep Jacob in your thoughts and prayers for a speedy recovery.

🌾🍑 Georgia Ag Students in Action 🍑🌾

Here in Georgia, agriculture is being shaped by the next generation every single day—and that starts with our students.

From working livestock and building SAE projects to learning in the classroom and competing in events, our FFA members are gaining real-world skills that go far beyond school.

These students aren’t just learning about agriculture… they’re living it.

The future of Georgia agriculture is bright because of the dedication, work ethic, and passion we see in our members every day. 🌱

💬 What ag skill have you learned this year that you’re most proud of?

03/07/2026

As the school year starts winding down and livestock show season comes to a close, it reminds me of when our own FFA SAE projects and show animals were wrapping up for the year.

Those early mornings, late nights in the barn, and weekends at shows sure taught us a lot.

Roll call — what was your FFA SAE project or livestock project?
🐄 Cattle
🐖 Hogs
🐑 Sheep/goats
🌱 Crop or ag project
📚 Something totally different

Big congratulations to our top four winners this year! So proud of each of you and the effort you put in—well done!
