Welcome to the Dagsboro Volunteer Fire Department and Good Ole Boy Foundation page!
The Dagsboro Volunteer Fire Department has a long history of fundraiser events, one of which had always been a shrimp and beef event held in conjunction with other groups. Over the years the event grew with organizations such as the Alley Cats Dance Troupe and the Clayton Theater. Just over four years ago the Department was approached by the Good Ole Boy Foundation to join together to help raise funds for both organizations. After some brain storming by both organizations the idea came about to plan a fundraiser together to replace the shrimp and beer event; and the Pull’n, Peel’n & Pick’n was born. Since that time our combined group has been blessed with the help of local businesses that come together to make one of the greatest events held in Sussex County!!!
The Good Ole Boy Foundation was founded to mobilize the community in an effort to unite resources and assist families in their time of unforeseen difficulties. Contact person is Josh Wharton @ 302-245-7893.
