The Daggett Museum is located on the north end of Daggett, where we share the history of our local community and the nearby mining town of Calico. Mining equipment, household items, railroad artifacts! Open every Saturday 11-4, Admission: FREE.

What a day we had, nothing short of fantastic. The dedication of the 20 Mule Team Wagons proudly displaying themselves in their new setting at the Rio Tinto visitor center in Boron overlooking the largest open pit mine in California. Sitting on top of the world with a view that will astound you. The same wagons built right here in Daggett by Seymour Alf at Alf's Blacksmith Shop. MaryBeth you did an awesome job in saving this history hopefully forever with this new structure and display to protect and show. The new life you allowed us to put into the wagons, in trusting and bringing us into your family. And to Bobby Tanner and his awesome family for bringing this part of history back to life.
If you have never been to the visitor center at the mine (easy drive and free), or not visited the museums in the town of Boron, shame on you! So close with so much history and information, do yourself a favor, go see them, you wont be sorry.
