Happy Labour Day from Unifor!

Today we take a moment to reflect on a powerful year of hard bargaining, fighting for Canadian jobs and sovereignty, and brining workers together in communities across the country.

After wrapping up the final day of the 2026 Unifor Canadian Council yesterday, members of Local 6004 proudly joined Unifor for the Capital Pride Parade in Ottawa. 🌈✊

For our union, Pride is about more than a celebration. It is about solidarity, inclusion, equality, and standing together against discrimination in all its forms. It is about recognizing the struggles and achievements of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and continuing the work to build workplaces, unions, and communities where everyone is treated with dignity, respect, and fairness.

The labour movement is strongest when we stand together. As Unifor members, we believe that there is strength in our differences and power in our collective voice. Inclusion means making sure every member feels that they belong, that they are valued, and that they have a place at the table.

It was an honour to march alongside our Unifor family and so many incredible people, filling the streets of Ottawa with love, pride, unity, and solidarity. ❤️🧡💛💚💙💜

Solidarity has no limits. 🌈✊
