This is amazing news! The American Legion Auxiliary has updated our eligibility criteria to include grandparents, grandchildren, parents, children and siblings of a Legion member or qualifying service person (no longer grandmother, granddaughters, mothers, daughters and sisters). Members of the Sons of the American Legion can also qualify for dual membership. Auxiliary eligibility still only extends to 2 generations, and from we can tell, if your connected veteran is alive, they will need to also be a Legion member for you to join the Auxiliary.
