Come take a relaxed stroll through this special piece of Dade City history, hear the stories that live within its walls, and learn how we’re working to preserve the home so it can become a living legacy for our community.

What a meaningful visit today! President Eric Hall, Ed.D. and Professor Eric Wolters had the opportunity to spend time with Joy Lynn, and her incredible team Corry Graber and Tim Graber at the historic Spencer-Dayton House.

We are so grateful for the collaboration and vision surrounding this special place—and especially excited that Pasco-Hernando State College students, faculty & staff have the opportunity to be part of the restoration process. Being able to learn, contribute, and help preserve a piece of our community’s history is a powerful, hands-on experience that connects education, history, and service.

So thankful for partnerships like this that bring learning to life. 💙

The Spencer/Dayton house is an exciting preservation project. As we move into 2026 we are looking forward to working with Dade City families,friends and our community to build a welcomed History Center. From our dedicated volunteer team, we wish you all a Happy New Year!

Join us for a festive afternoon at the Spencer-Dayton Home! 🎻✨ Saturday, December 13th, 2-4pm, enjoy refreshments, history tours, and a special Christmas concert on the lawn with the Dade City String Quartet.

All proceeds support the restoration of this historic home. $20 donation at the door.

Make it a full day after the concert, stroll to downtown Dade City for the annual Christmas Stroll at 5pm. Celebrate our community, history, and the holiday spirit together!

The inaugural Pie on the Porch event was a successful fundraiser for the Spencer-Dayton House. The money raised brings us a little closer to that 25,000 dollar goal for the new roof.
