Today’s meeting was filled with celebration, gratitude, and inspiration.

We were excited to recognize Mercedes as she received her Blue Membership Badge, marking an important milestone in her Rotary journey. Congratulations, Mercedes!

We also heard from Dawn, who shared a special plaque presented by the Pasco High School Speech and Debate Team in appreciation of our club’s sponsorship. We are honored to support these talented students and their continued success.

Our guest speaker, Rodney Cruz from the PTSD Foundation of America, delivered a powerful and moving presentation on PTSD, the challenges faced by veterans, and the importance of supporting those in need. His message was both educational and inspiring, reminding us of the impact compassion and community support can have on the lives of our nation’s heroes.

Thank you to everyone who joined us for another meaningful Rotary meeting dedicated to service above self.

Great night of fellowship at Al’s Pizza! 🍕

As we begin Memorial Day weekend, let us take time to remember the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country.

Their sacrifice made the freedoms we enjoy today possible. While many will spend this weekend with family and friends, we should also pause to honor those who never made it home and the families who continue to carry their legacy forward.

The Rotary Club of Dade City is proud to join communities across America in remembering our fallen heroes and expressing gratitude for their courage, sacrifice, and service.

As Rotarians, “Service Above Self” reminds us to continue serving others and strengthening our communities in honor of those who served our nation so selflessly.

Over the last two weeks, members of the Rotary Club of Dade City once again showed what Service Above Self truly means. Through the generosity of our members and community partners, we collected hygiene items and essential supplies to support Farmworkers Self Help Inc. and the families they serve throughout our community.

The club was also proud to present a $500 donation to support the local America250 efforts and upcoming America250 activities taking place in Dade City as our nation prepares to celebrate 250 years of American history, patriotism, and community.

From helping local families in need to supporting community events that bring people together, Rotary continues to make an impact right here at home.

Thank you to everyone who donated items, supported these efforts, and continues to help make our community stronger. This is what Rotary is all about. People of Action serving others and investing in the future of Dade City.

Today’s Rotary meeting featured an informative presentation from George Watson, who shared valuable insights on public health initiatives and services impacting our community here in Pasco County. We appreciate his time and dedication to keeping our community informed and healthy.

A special thank you goes out to all of our golfers, sponsors, and Golf Committee members whose hard work and support made this year’s tournament a tremendous success. Because of your generosity and teamwork, we raised an incredible $14,000 for the Charities Account.

These funds will be reinvested directly back into the local Dade City community through projects and initiatives that support our neighbors and strengthen our community. Thank you to everyone who helped make a difference!

Today at Rotary, we had the opportunity to hear from Jeff Brandeis on the topics of leadership and communication. His insights on building strong relationships, effective communication, and leading with purpose gave our members plenty to reflect on and apply both professionally and personally.
