We meet on Thursday mornings at 7 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church Dade City. The Four-Way Test:

1. Is it the Truth?
2. Is it Fair to all concerned?
3.

Will it build Goodwill and Better Friendships?
4. Will it be Beneficial to all concerned? Rotary International is an international service organization whose stated purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world. It is a secular organization open to all persons regardless of race, color, creed, religion, gender, or political preference. There are 34,282 clubs and over 1.2 million members worldwide.

On Thursday, September 24, our speaker was Dr. John Legg, Superintendent of Pasco County Schools! He talked about all of the amazing accomplishments of schools in our district and the wonderful achievements in our East Pasco schools.

Since 2010, our club has donated Sunshine State Readers to our local elementary schools. Thanks to the generosity of and a matching grant from Pasco Education Foundation, we were able to donate 350 books to the following principals and elementary schools in East Pasco:

🎱🍺 Oh, what a night! We appreciate the Dade City community for coming out to Bingo & Brews on August 11! A special thanks to our fellow Rotarians from Rotary Club of Dade City who came to support the event. Everyone enjoyed a fun evening of bingo, food/drinks, silent auction baskets and the winner of the 50/50 donated the prize back to the club! 🎁

💰 On Thursday, July 23, our club had the pleasure of hearing from Karen Gaskin! Karen is a member of the Echebucsassa Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR) and was the chair of the celebration in Dade City on July 4. She is a retired Treasury Department bank examiner and shared a vault's worth of information of how the Treasury Department began and shared many experiences from her vast career. We appreciate Karen speaking to our club as a guest of Bob Hatfield. 🪙

📌 **Since July 30 is a 5th Thursday, we will not have a morning meeting as the club will gather for an evening social to celebrate two members who are expecting babies in the near future.**

💛 Join us next Thursday, August 6 for Club Day at 7 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, Dade City! 💙

Our meeting this week will feature our friend Karen Gaskin, who serves as Chair of the America 250 Committee for the Echebucsassa Chapter of the National Society Daughters of the American Revolution. She has been leading efforts to coordinate East Pasco County’s participation in the nation’s 250th anniversary celebration, working with community organizations and local governments in Dade City and Zephyrhills.

Our meeting is at the First Presbyterian Church in Dade City at 7:00 am on the 1st-4th Thursdays. We hope to see you there!
