The GFWC Dade City Woman's Club was organized in 1909 and it's historic building has been a fixture in Dade City since 1926. Today's DCWC is carrying on the traditions set forth by our founding members. Today, the DCWC provide members with an opportunity to make a difference in our community. They participate in projects that make a positive impact on the future of Dade City and help to restore it's historical past. It is an excellent way to make new friends and acquaintances.

☀️Check this out!! The GFWC South Brevard Junior Woman's Club is hosting a Virtual 5K Run/Walk throughout the month of June. For just $25, participants can complete a 5K anytime between June 1 and June 30. Proceeds will benefit Feeding America, and the area with the most participants will have the donation directed to their local Feeding America partner to help provide food assistance in their community. We are so excited to share that on Sunday, May 24, 2026, our Woman’s Club was recognized in the United States Congress. This means that the Dade City Woman’s Club will forever be remembered as it is record and retained in the US National Archives.
A big thank you to Linda Dillon and Bob Hatfield from State Representative Gus Bilirakus office. These congressional remarks were read by our House of Representatives, Gus Bilirakis.

This past Thursday, we held our end of the year banquet. It was a night to remember with the theme, Honoring Our Roots. Growing Our Future. The theme incorporated the club flower, Scarlet red hibiscus. 🌺 We were able to reflect on this past years events, recognize outgoing leadership and install new members and leaders. We were blessed to have the event catered by Florida Cracker and served on our clubs china. A tradition we cherish. We were honored to have Judy Quail, GFWC District 8 Director, as our guest speaker & to install our new board members.
A big congratulations to this year’s award winners.

Florida’s Commissioner of Agriculture, Wilton Simpson, spoke to the audience during the Centennial Celebration. Mentioning the impact of the club and the women that have contributed to it over the years. As well as the upkeep of this historic building is a community effort.
