The Dade City Garden Club is dedicated to the education of its members and the public in the fields of gardening, horticulture, landscape design, floral design, and environmental awareness through the conservation of natural resources. The Dade City Garden Club was established in 1947 by community-minded, energetic women who were interested in the environment and improving their hometown. We are d

riven by our mission to educate our members and the community in the fields of gardening, horticulture, landscape design, floral design, and environmental awareness. Our volunteer members maintain a three-acre site, with gardens assigned to each of our six circles, as well as a pollinator garden and a wildlife edible garden. Our clubhouse is a beautiful old church moved to this site with funds collected by the founding members through bake sales, catering, and public donations. District VIII and we strive to support their objectives and projects.

🌿 **A Lasting Gift to the Dade City Garden Club** 🌿

The Dade City Garden Club was recently honored to dedicate the new pergola on our Celebration Patio and present a commemorative plaque to **Talon Pregartner** in recognition of his outstanding Eagle Scout Project.

Through his leadership, hard work, and commitment to service, Talon designed and built this beautiful structure, creating a welcoming space that will be enjoyed for weddings, celebrations, educational programs, and community gatherings for years to come.

The Celebration Patio Pergola is more than a structure—it is a lasting legacy of service and a reminder of what young people can accomplish when they dedicate themselves to improving their community.

We extend our sincere thanks to Talon, his Scout Master Chris Davis, fellow Scouts, volunteers, family, and other Scout leaders who helped bring this project to life. Special appreciation to Karen Menard, lead garden club member who worked closely with Talon on this project. We are proud to have this beautiful addition to our Garden Club grounds and grateful for the lasting impact it will have on future generations.

Congratulations, Talon, on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout and thank you for leaving your mark on the Dade City Garden Club! 🦅🌿
