πŸ’œπŸŒŸ PAD Foundation Scholar Spotlight πŸŒŸπŸ’œ

Tomorrow, one of our PAD Foundation scholars begins a week-long STEAM Camp at the Austell Youth Innovation Center!

We are honored to sponsor CM, age 13, for his 3rd consecutive year of summer camp through the Patricia Ann Doyle Foundation. The cost of camp was $175 for the week, and we are grateful to invest in his future.

CM’s father is currently incarcerated in Tennessee, and for the past three years, our foundation has had the privilege of supporting him through summer camp, back-to-school assistance, and Christmas gifts.

This is why we do what we do. Consistency matters. Showing up year after year matters. Letting a child know they are seen, valued, and supported matters.

We are grateful for every donor, supporter, and volunteer who helps us make opportunities like this possible.

Our goal is to bless even more youth with summer camp scholarships this year and continue creating opportunities for children impacted by parental incarceration.

One year ago today, I had the honor of attending the 60th Diamond Anniversary Celebration for Herzing University.

This special event recognized six decades of transforming lives through education, leadership, and service. As a proud alumna, I remain grateful for the opportunities, relationships, and support that Herzing University has provided throughout the years.

The support Herzing has shown to the Patricia Ann Doyle Foundation and other community organizations continues to make a meaningful impact on families and youth. Together, we are helping create brighter futures through education, mentorship, and service.

Congratulations again on 60 years of excellence, and thank you for investing in students, alumni, and communities.

πŸ’œπŸŽ“ Grateful for a Decade of Support! πŸŽ“πŸ’œ

Last night, I had the pleasure of attending the Herzing University Graduate & Alumni Dinner and was reminded of how much this institution has meant to me both personally and professionally.

As the founder of the Patricia Ann Doyle Foundation (PAD Foundation), I am especially grateful for Herzing University’s support of our mission over the past 10 years. Their encouragement, partnerships, and belief in community impact have helped us continue serving youth impacted by parental incarceration through scholarships, summer camp sponsorships, school supplies, college essentials, and holiday assistance.

Thank you, Herzing University, for investing in education, leadership, and communities. Your support has made a difference in the lives of many young people and families.

Congratulations to the Class of 2026! Welcome to the alumni family, and may your journey be filled with purpose, success, and service.

With gratitude,

This morning was powerful and deeply personal. πŸ’œπŸŽ™οΈ

I had the honor of being featured on Let It Be Known with Black Press USA, where I shared my work with The Bail Project as a Bail Disruptor and community advocate.

During the conversation, I also opened up about the impact incarceration has on children and families. I shared my personal story about my mother’s incarceration and how my grandparents stepped in to raise my siblings and me. That experience shaped my heart for advocacy, direct service, and supporting youth and families impacted by the justice system.

We discussed:
πŸ”Ή The impact of the cash bail system
πŸ”Ή Children with incarcerated parents
πŸ”Ή Community support & second chances
πŸ”Ή Why representation, compassion, and advocacy matter

β€œFreedom Should Be Free” is more than words for me β€” it’s personal, purposeful, and part of my life’s mission.

Grateful for the opportunity to share my story and the work with a national audience.

πŸŽ₯ Go catch the replay when you get a chance!

Last night was truly special as I celebrated the graduation of my niece and godson. πŸŽ“

I’m incredibly proud of both of them for reaching this milestone despite the challenges they faced throughout their high school journey. From navigating the impact of COVID-19 to overcoming the trauma of experiencing a school shooting, they showed remarkable resilience, strength, and perseverance.

Watching them walk across that stage reminded me that determination, faith, and support systems matter. They refused to let obstacles define their future.

Congratulations to them both on this major accomplishment. The future is bright, and I know they are destined for greatness. πŸ’™

Tonight I officially graduated from the Gwinnett 101 Citizens Academy – Spring 2026 Cohort 21! πŸŽ“

Over the past 12 weeks, I had the opportunity to learn more about Gwinnett County government, public safety, community services, water resources, parks & recreation, and the amazing leaders who help keep our county moving forward every day.

This experience stretched me, educated me, and deepened my passion for community engagement and service.

As a community advocate, Freedom Fighter, nonprofit founder, and public servant, I’m grateful for every lesson, every connection, and every opportunity to grow alongside an incredible cohort.

Thank you Gwinnett County for an unforgettable experience!
