No Hitter Alert!! Mia was dominating in the circle this weekend, throwing a no-hitter in our 4th bracket game. Aislin was brilliant behind the plate. The pair teamed up for 5 innings, allowing no runs on no hits, while striking out 8 in route to a 3-0 victory!!!

They say everything is bigger in Texas, and that’s true for this weekend’s USFA State Championship, where 34 of the best 10U Open Class teams in the State will meet in Rosenberg, Texas to see who will take home this year’s state championship. We say it every day: It’s great to be an Intruder. If you have ever wondered what it’s like, here is an opportunity as we will be hosting open practices in May and June as we enter the summer season. If you would like to join a practice for additional reps and introductions, please contact Coach Jayme to RSVP. Please note, this is not designed as a try out. If we have open roster spots for the fall, we will hold formal tryouts in July.

This weekend we took another shot at Open Class 12U. Our 3-1 record, while only allowing 1.75 runs per game, was better than 13 other teams and earned us a trip to the championship game. While we came up a couple runs short in the championship, the girls fought the whole day and played with some of the best teams around. To finish second in a 12U open class tournament was a tremendous accomplishment. TX CF Intruders
