SSGS Ep. 319: Chris Hatcher - Hatch's Barbecue, Special Co-Host James Dodson - Limpbrizkit

What up Gooder Gang!?! Ribs are on the menu tonight! Y'all ready for another serving of some fun Wednesday night BBQ goodness!?! Chris Hatcher makes his long overdue solo appearance on the show, alongside our Special Co-Host, James Dodson of Limpbrizkit. We'll catch up and chat with James about some very strong finishes for Limpbrizkit before he sits in the Co-Host chair and get to our boy, Hatch.

Hatch is a long time BBQ badass from the Norfside! Chris has experience in all sanctioning bodies and will provide a unique perspective in cooking all parts of the Great State. He's on a nice run right now so we'll get to pick his brain and see what's clicking!

Late post: Chicken STOPPED Chickening! It's ok, though, because Brisket is starting to swing back around. Ill take it! Time to start another Bird run this weekend in Bandera! I have made a point to take pics with our . If I come around with my camera, just smile and say CHEESE!

McDade Watermelon Festival is becoming our favorite cook off! We were blessed to win Grand Champions for the 2nd year in a row! It's a great event that increased from 28 teams to 45 teams in it's 2nd year. Promoter Stephen and CBA Rep Adriana did a great job all weekend. The sky opened up a made for a wet, wild and muddy awards but we didn't mind with these results:

2nd Brisket 🐮

Good enough for our 4th Jack B**g on the season and Grand Champions 🏆. It was great to share the stage with our good buddy Bill Purvis with Chicken Fried BBQ. Congrats Billy

We are on a crazy Bird run right now and we'll hope to keep it going this weekend in Hempstead! Come see us if you're out there
