Last night marked the first stated meeting under the leadership of our newly installed Worhipful Master Perry Palmer. The Lodge successfully attended to many important Lodge matters and completed the final installation of officers for 2025.

We are especially grateful to gracious ladies of the OES Chapter #1102, who provided a warm and delicious meal and presented Worshipful Master Palmer with a token of their love and mutual respect they have for Cypress Lodge and the brethren.

Here’s to a year of light, labor, fellowship, and brotherhood. May we continue to build with purpose and serve with honor. SMIB

Today Cypress Lodge 1423 held it's installation of officers. It was a powerful reminder that while our working tools may be symbolic, the labor of leadership, tradition, and brotherly love is very real.

Congratulations Worshipful Master Perry Palmer and to all the newly installed officers as they take up the mantle of responsibility and continue the light of our Craft. May their year be guided by wisdom, strength, and beauty.

A special thanks to the Installing Officer ,Bro Stephen Orlando PM, and Installing Marshal, Bro Shaun Vest PM, for their excellent work installing our officers today.

Worshipful Master Perry had the distinct pleasure of visiting our neighboring brethren at Hiram’s Trowel Lodge #662 - PHA. This was the first fraternal visit of Cypress Lodge 1423 AF & AM, but it definitely will not be the last! Worshipful Master Henry and all the brethren of Hiram’s Trowel were warm, welcoming, and the brotherly love was exemplary. Laughs were had and ideas were discussed. Worshipful Master Perry and all of Cypress Lodge look forward to our continued collaboration and believe this is the beginning of a bright future of Masonry in Cypress Texas.

On Saturday, November 15, 2025, we’re walking with purpose, and we want you to be part of it! Shriners Children’s Texas is proud to announce our very first annual Trot for Love. This scenic 1-mile walk goes through the historic east end of Galveston and concludes at the hospital with a fun, family-friendly carnival.

Every dollar raised supports our hospital and ensures kids with acute burns, orthopedic conditions, and cleft lip and palate receive world-class care, regardless of a family’s ability to pay or insurance status.

Update: the Star Member that sold me these had them confused with the Red Wagon Pins. The Red Wagon Pins support the Scottish Rite Hospitals, these stuffed animals support the Rainbows and DeMolays.

CHALLENGE!
The Grand Chapter of Texas is selling stuffed tigers and donkeys (that are safe for all children) to raise funds for the DeMolay & Rainbow. Today, Past Master Newberry purchased 40 of them on behalf of our lodge that we will be donating to our local Law Enforcement Officers. These Officers will utilize them to comfort children they encounter in the line of duty.
*This helps the OES be successful in their generous fundraising.
*This helps support the Rainbow and DeMolays.
*Finally, this helps Law Enforcement Officers provide a small comfort to children who may be in a terrible situation.
