We’ve officially reached 50 registered runners for the Healthy Kids Running Series – Cypress! 🎉 Now we need your help getting to 100!

Why is 100 our magic number? 🌟 When we reach 100 runners, we’ll be able to recognize 1st, 2nd AND 3rd place in each age division! 🥇🥈🥉

HKRS is for ALL kids—whether they’re first-time runners or seasoned racers! It’s a great way to:

Meet Nicole, Co-Coordinator HKRS Cypress

I have been co-coordinating our series since Fall 2023 and just love all of the life lessons, joy and excitement that can be learned from running- even as a child! I started running in 5th grade, ran casually for years, and have evolved to now completing backyard and ultra running events. As an avid runner myself I’m Co-Captain to a local trail running group, the CRA Trailblazers and I’m 4 years into my minimum 1 mile/day run streak. I’m originally from Ohio. In 2013 my best fur baby (aka dog) Scruffy and I were relocated to Houston for my job. I then met my husband the weekend I moved here. I’m now a Mama of 3, +2 (grown) bonus “kids” and a cat. My day jobs are a mix of time share between real estate agent and managing our construction & remodeling company. I’m multi-passionate so when I’m not co-coordinating for our HKRS, working, running, playing games or having dance parties with my kids, I’m probably at a scouting event, church, gardening, fishing, playing tennis, crafting, baking, reading, writing, hunting, sewing, working on a new DIY project at home, pursuing a new hobby, or dreaming up some sort of running or travel adventure.
