King's Cross Cypress

King's Cross Cypress King's Cross Mission is simply this to follow Jesus great commandments Mark 12:28-34 and his great commission Matthew 28:16-28. Love People! Love Cypress!

The easiest way to say this is that we want to:

Love God! King's Cross Church exists to Love God, Love People and Love Cypress.

đźš› First In. Last Out. đźš›

Every Sunday, while most of us were still hitting snooze, our Truck Team was already on the move.

For years, King’s Cross has shared space with Covenant Academy, and every single Sunday, this crew picks up our trailer full of everything needed to make worship happen, set it all up, and then stayed long after the last song to break it all down and drive it back to storage. Tedious, unglamorous, and absolutely essential.

We have some exciting news: Covenant Academy has graciously given us the ability to store our setup equipment on site, which means we no longer need a truck team. But before we turn the page, we need to stop and celebrate the people who made Sundays possible behind the scenes.

To Nathan, Jonathan, Matt, Joshua, Chris, Todd, RJ, Brad, Paul, and Dennis (Not everyone pictured). Thank you. For the early mornings. For the late pack downs. For showing up week after week with faithfulness and endurance when no one was watching.

The pews may be full, but this church stands on the backs of people like you.
And don’t worry, they are not hanging up their plows just yet. Many of them have already jumped into other areas of ministry, bringing that same servant heart wherever they go.
We see you. We honor you. We thank you. 🙏🏽

🎓 Graduation Season Spotlight: Diara! 🎓

We are so proud to celebrate one of our own: Diara, a young woman whose dedication, faith, and hard work have produced something truly remarkable. God has gifted her richly, and she has been faithful with every one of those gifts.

Diara graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 3.82 GPA, maintained Honor Roll for three consecutive years, earned her Associates Degree in General Math & Science, and did it all with perfect attendance. She is a National Honor Society member, a Gold Medal winner in the National Spanish Exam, holds multiple healthcare certifications, and logged over 200 volunteer hours across Key Club, Student Council, HOSA, the Hispanic Culture Club, and National Honor Society. All while helping out with our children’s ministry. 💛

Congratulations to her and her family! She will be majoring in Biology with her sights set on becoming a doctor or physician assistant. We are so blessed to have watched God nurture and grow her, and we know the best is still to come. 🙏

Last Sunday we had the joy of celebrating two of our most faithful and beloved members, Dave & Pat Randall! 🎉

Dave has been part of the King’s Cross family since nearly the beginning. When our church particularized, he stepped right up alongside the other elders, pouring himself into the behind-the-scenes work that makes a church thrive. As a former Navy engineer, he brought discipline, structure, and a quiet problem-solving spirit to everything he touched and the church is better for it.

But Dave would be the first to tell you: none of it would have been possible without Pat. Her faithfulness, support, and sacrifice have been woven into every part of his ministry, and we see it and honor it. 🤍

Dave will be stepping down as an elder to emeritus status. We dedicated our second quarterly fellowship meal to them: good food, great community, and a chance to say thank you to two people who have given so much. It was such a sweet time together.

Dave & Pat, your steady love for the Lord and for this church has shaped us in ways that will last for generations. We are so grateful for you both.
Thank you for your faithfulness. Thank you for staying. Thank you for serving. 🙏

We are about half way through Easter season in the church calendar and we look back today at Easter Sunday where Kings Cross had its annual Easter egg hunt. We are thankful that more than 140 people including 67 kids participated in the hunt this year. It was a great time to meet the community, connectwith our neighbors and celebrate Easter. We’re also thankful to all of our volunteers who purchased supplies and spent numerous hours prepping for the event. As we continue with Easter season let’s continue to remember Jesus’s sacrifice, victory and the courage He has won us to live our faith. Feel free to listen to our current sermon series on this very topic. Link in bio. Photo credit to

What does it mean to live without fear? 🤔

Easter was just last week, the moment that changed everything. The tomb is empty, the battle is won, and Christ reigns victorious. ✝️ Now we step into what that means for how we actually live.

Starting tomorrow, we’re diving into the Book of Joshua to find out. Courageous Christianity is a 12 week series exploring how God equips His people to be strong and courageous, and what that looks like for us today. Through Joshua, we’ll deepen our understanding of Christ as the New Adam, the Cross as the Cosmic Battle, and the Resurrection as the Victory Inaugurated.

The Easter story doesn’t end at the empty tomb. It spills into every area of our lives. 🙌
We strive from victory, not for victory. ⚔️
