Greater Grace Adoption Ministry To see adoptive and foster families flourish in God's love What started as just a fun run for the church, has grown into a full day of fun for the community.

Running for Greater Things (RGT) is an event coordinated by Greater Grace Ministry at Fairfield Baptist. We start RGT with a certified 5K and 10K and then continue the fun with a Color Run and Fall Fest! RGT involves sponsors, community volunteers, and runners and raises money to help adoptive/foster families. But money is not just used to help bring kids home, it also helps families after kids ar

e home as well as serving kids that will never make it home. RGT has raised over $100,000 for adoptive/foster families and orphan care needs the past 10 years. RGT 2020 may look a little different, but our team works to provide an excellent race experience, a fun family-friendly event, and a safe, welcoming environment in our community for one purpose of caring for the fatherless.

Getting certified as a relief care provider is one of the most practical, tangible ways we can support a foster family in our community, in our church. It’s how we become part of their village — the kind of village that makes it possible for them to keep doing the hard, beautiful work of caring for kids from hard places.

This Giving Tuesday, we’re thinking about the families that Greater Grace Adoption Ministry has helped create. The mountain of paperwork that led to this moment. The sleepless nights of worry that gave way to this carefree afternoon. The financial barriers that could have kept them apart, but didn’t—because people gave.
Greater Grace doesn’t just help families afford adoption. We walk alongside them through counseling. Greater Grace strengthens marriages through the Connect Marriage Retreat, because we understand that building a family requires building a strong foundation. We know that adoption is beautiful and complex and expensive and worth every bit of support we can offer.
Today, we’re asking you to consider being part of writing more stories like this one. Stories of connections made, families formed, joy multiplied.
The work Greater Grace does changes lives—not just for the children who find their forever homes, but for the parents who finally get to hold their dreams in their arms, for the marriages that grow stronger through the journey, for communities that become richer when families thrive.
