Here's what's happening:

The Take Care of America's Veterans Act would expand some veterans' programs by cutting disability ratings for tinnitus and obstructive sleep apnea.

Translation: future combat veterans could see their earned compensation reduced to help fund other veterans' benefits.

We've said it before. We'll say it again:
Veterans should NOT pay for veterans' benefits.

On June 20 at 8:00 AM, we held a Flag Retirement ceremony, retiring 651 flags in just 3.5 hours. Despite the humidity and heat, we embraced the spirit of camaraderie and fun. We even had a special visit from the Fire Marshal, who honored us by delivering a flag that needed to be retired. Thank you to the 16 participants who helped us retire flags today. See y'all on July 18th - same time, same location!
