🎨On the first Friday in September each year, people around the world create art at the same time – in plazas, parks, libraries, studios, and sidewalks. While time zones change, the moment of creativity is shared globally. World Art Break Day connects communities locally – while uniting them globally in one shared creative moment.
📚Join this worldwide phenomenon at CHCPL. Bri and Amy have set up stations all across the library with different forms of media to create your own art. You can take the finished products home or leave them for the library to display. Take a break and enjoy creativity.

The immediate community response to our post below has been fantastic! Shelves are beginning to fill up again. Thank you! Thank you to those who so quickly heeded the call.
As I say again and again, this is the givingest community I know. We do our very best to take care of our own. 🙏🏼

Our food storage room is totally empty. Please consider a donation of food or money. Summertime is busy at the food pantry. Drop off @ 304 North Locust Wednesday 12-3.

The Harrison County Food Pantry does accept fresh items from your garden.
Any overflow is welcome.

We are open Wednesday afternoon and would happy to give away anything extra you have.
