BXO had an amazing time performing alongside the Canton Ballet and the Cleveland Ballet this past Sunday at Gervasi Vineyards! We performed a contemporary piece by Tom Evert called I ❤️ Shapes.

Wonderful having everyone come together to support dance!

We were so happy to have some of the incredible ROAD® teachers and pianists with us at our A Night in Old Vegas Gala last weekend! ❤️

These are the talented people who bring ROAD® to life in our schools—sharing the joy of dance and music with hundreds of elementary students throughout our community. From teaching in the classroom to providing the beautiful music that accompanies each class, our ROAD® team plays such an important role in creating meaningful experiences for young dancers.

Having them at the gala was a wonderful reminder of the people behind the program and the passion they bring to every school, every class and every student.

Thank you to our amazing ROAD® team—and to everyone who supported Ballet Excel Ohio and helped us continue bringing dance education and the arts into our schools and community! ✨

BXO Young Dancer Discovery Day yesterday at the Fairlawn-Bath Branch Library was a wonderful way to introduce young children that are interested in the world of dance to what we do at Ballet Excel Ohio!

Last night we honored Howard Parr and the Akron Civic Theatre with our 2026 Prima Award!

Ballet Excel Ohio is proud to honor the Akron Civic Theatre for its continued commitment to the arts and its longstanding support of our organization. For decades, the Civic has provided a beautiful stage where our dancers can share their talent, grow as performers, and create memorable experiences for audiences throughout our community. With nearly 50 Ballet Excel Ohio performances hosted at the Civic, this treasured Akron landmark has played an important role in our history and in helping us bring the magic of dance to generations of families. We are grateful for this enduring partnership and for the Civic's dedication to keeping the arts vibrant in our community. ♥️
