Generally speaking, scenery isn’t even on the list yet. However, in some circumstances it has to be done. In this case the Little Cuyahoga needed to be completed before the bridge could be installed due to the short distance between the bottom of the bridge and the surface of the river. For those familiar with Akron, this bridge is between East Market Street and Goodyear plant 1.

A pair of representatives from the 100, 2 bay, 50 ton, offset hoppers. The first and thirty sixth cars of the group are shown. Built in 1936, these cars replaced older, pre WW1 cars. The 16200 still retains the more common lettering while the 16235 is in the mid 1950’s lettering applied after a recent shopping.
