Riverfront Community Band was originally founded in 1981 by the late Jack Scott as the Trinity Concert Band. For many years, they have performed traditional concerts "In the Grand Tradition," at nursing homes, assisted living residences, libraries, parks, schools, and civic club events. The music repertoire is selected from marches, the movies, the stage, serious as well as pops style classical m
usic. Although the band went on hiatus in 2020 due the pandemic, it was reformed in 2022 with many of the original members, and has now become the "Riverfront Community Band." Riverfront Community Band is currently under the direction of retired high school band director, Mr. The band meets weekly on Wednesdays, and has an active concert schedule. The membership is free, and is made up of a mix professional to high school musicians with the music ranging from medium to medium hard. Mostly, we have fun and encourage members to enjoy themselves, with the benefit of the younger generation learning from the older one. We rehearse on Wednesday nights 6:30 pm at Northminster Presbyterian Church at 104 W Portage Trl, Cuyahoga Falls, OH 44223. We hope to see you there!
