“Before coming to Summit DD, I was an Eligibility Support Administrator for Cuyahoga DD. I’m really looking forward to meeting my new co-workers and learning about all the ways that Summit DD can help the people we work with to reach their full potential. In my free time, I love to spend time with my family. My daughter, Grace is almost 7 months old and she is so much fun! We also love to go on walks, go swimming, explore the Metroparks and have friends over for weekly game nights,” Alicia Markusic, SSA

👋 Meet Audrey! Because of you, Audrey and nearly 1,000 other children in Summit County receive essential Early Intervention services through Summit DD.

Research shows that starting intervention services early gives a child the best chance to learn and grow, and early support can reduce the need for services later in life.

Summit DD is proud to support the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) 36th Anniversary. On July 26th we celebrate this important civil rights law that prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities in all areas of public life, including jobs, schools, transportation, and all public and private places that are open to the general public.

The purpose of the law is to make sure that people with disabilities have the same rights and opportunities as everyone else.

Join Summit DD in celebrating the 36th Anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act, the first comprehensive civil rights law for persons with disabilities.
