Weβd like to give some of you that donβt know the history of The Bayou Bell Ringers, a condensed version. In 1995 we were invited to rehearse at this location, which we all recognize if youβre from The Bayou. There were so many pioneers of the organization and The Lodge that we cannot begin to mention any names not wanting to leave out any of them. The members of The Lodge welcomed us into their home and itβs become our home since. Our by-laws were written and we became a 501-C3 that year. Malmark the company we purchase our bells from generously sold us a used set of bells for $1 a year. As we organized and grew we purchased the bells we have today through the hard work and generosity of the community through fund raising, grants and donations. The Lodge continued to welcome us all these years, and after losing our original sign to hurricane Ida in 2021, they asked us to replace it. In 2025 with the help of many, we ordered it, had a frame built and put it up. Members of The Lodge worked alongside of us in doing that. Although our membership and theirs have changed through the years their generosity in providing The Bayou Bell Ringers with a home to continue practicing hasnβt and that we are very grateful and thankful for.ππ»βοΈππ»βοΈππ»βοΈ
