We are proud to announce that Custer Area Volunteer Fire & Rescue Inc. has officially been awarded a massive federal Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) totaling $191,767 for the 2025 Fiscal Year!🙌 A MASSIVE SHOUTOUT TO OUR OWN:This game-changing funding wouldn't exist without the relentless work of Shawn Creech (Grant Writer / Firefighter)! Shawn put in hours behind the scenes to lock down this competitive federal award, ensuring our crew has the tools they need to make it home safe after every call.💨 The Mission: New SCBA Air Packs100% of these funds are dedicated strictly to upgrading our outdated equipment to brand-new, state-of-the-art Self-Contained Breathing Apparatus (SCBA) Air Packs.
