Custer Community Campus Survey #2!

Hi Custer! Its FINALLY here!

You've attended the meetings, built your own community center, figured out budgets, taken surveys, talked to your friends and neighbors, and met with us at community groups and individually to talk about the project. Now we need your input one more time on the campus concepts and strategy.
Please take this survey!

This survey will be publicly advertised to our community for about four weeks. Please forward this link to everyone you know with an interest in planning the public amenities available to our community.

Thank you Custer!

Did you miss the Concept Meeting? You can still comment!

The May 21 Community Campus meeting reviewed Conceptual approaches to the site and building layout for the campus. We shared information about site limitations and considerations, site and building layouts, and potential costs. These concepts show the long term vision for the campus, and you should check them out and tell us what you like about the various ideas. Your input will help us gauge how the community feels about the likelihood of success for the facility.

Did you miss the Operational Costs meeting? You can still comment!

The May 2 Community Campus meeting reviewed potential Operational Costs of the new facility. We shared information about what other community’s do, and potential expenses and revenue that could pay for aspects of the ongoing management costs. If you missed this meeting, but would like to learn about these costs, and participate in the exercise - you still can! Your input will help us gauge how the community feels about the likelihood of success for the facility.

Pass it on - we still need your ideas and opinions!

Did you miss the February public meeting? Don't worry! You can still participate! Stop by City Hall, look through all of the information, and give us your input.

What kind of input?

At the last public meeting in February, community members worked in groups to come up with a long-term master plan idea for the Community Campus site. They considered budget, phasing, and community needs from last fall's surveys. You can do that too! Just stop by City Hall - all of the materials are in the City Council chambers and there are instructions for how to do it.

You might have seen some orange flags and construction on the Custer Community Campus (old Elementary School) site and wondered if construction was starting.

The answer is NO! City staff was removing some old play equipment and needed to have underground utilities flagged to do so.

Right now the Community Campus is only in the Master Planning stage - which means developing the big vision that will drive what happens on that site in the future.

Speaking of which - keep an eye out for notifications about the next public meeting in early April. It will be focused on Operations Costs and we'll get information about that meeting out soon!
