Tomorrow (Monday the 8th) there will be an interruption in the Main Street area while some work is done on the upgrade. This should just be a few hours.

We are going to flush the lines this coming Saturday, Dec 7th from 8 to 4pm.

Just a reminder, you might experience low, or no, water flow for a short while.

Also, this week's frosty mornings is a great reminder to cover your outdoor faucets!

Hello everybody! Just wanted to let you all know that this weekend (8/10) we plan on flushing lines.

Tuesday, starting around 3:30pm, we will have a water outage in downtown Custer… lasting several hours to tie in our new line down portal way. This will affect all meters on 4th street including the post office, Tonys tavern, and all businesses down town. It will also affect Custer School Road road south of Arnie road, including the elementary school, and the museum. It will also affect any meters off Portal way south of main street. It will also affect the old feed/train station.

This should not affect anyone west of the train tracks. It should not affect anyone east of I-5. It also should affect anyone between the tracks and I-5 who's meter is on Arnie or north of there.

This is subject to change if a valve doesn't hold. In theory, it should only last two hours but we know how that goes.

I have attached a map of everyone that "should" be affected.

A leak has been located this morning, and we will be addressing it tomorrow /Monday. 4th Street/downtown Custer, should expect water disruption. This should NOT include the school. Sorry for this inconvenience, and thank you for your understanding.

Just a reminder (there was an email sent out to those who opted in for email notification) there is flushing this weekend! Starting tomorrow, Saturday the 13th. You may see some air, sediment or water pressure fluctuation. Always a good idea to have some water set aside before hand.

Custer Water Association will be flushing the system on Saturday (4/13) starting at 8am. You may experience low water pressure and cloudy water.

We are also beginning an upgrade starting next week. There should be no disruptions to water; however, you may see some equipment working along the south end of Custer School Road and down Portal Way.
