Select A Gift Needs your Help!
With Thanksgiving behind us and Christmas drawing ever closer and we are again asking the generous folks of Custer to contribute toward a happier Christmas for the families in Custer County who may not otherwise receive Christmas gifts.
To help us reach the challenge of the Select A Gift committee to raise at least $20,000 this year we are extending our time for accepting donations. We already have more families signed up this year than a year ago at this time and this is why we really need your help!
Find a tree from the list below before December 17 (the sooner the better for us to purchase gifts!), and place your cash or check made out to Select A Gift in one of the envelopes provided, then drop in the secure red lock boxes at the following locations: Custer Area Chamber of Commerce (M-F 9am-4pm); Highmark Federal Credit Union; South Dakota Outdoor Shop; Dacotah Bank, and The Custer Beacon. The following churches will have drop boxes available before and after services: Custer Lutheran Fellowship, St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Custer Community Church, and Our Redeemer Lutheran Church.
Or you can mail your check made out Select a Gift to PO Box 366, Custer SD 57730. Again, this year there is a QR code on our posters around town or on our Select A Gift page for Venmo donations.
