We will be having a Roundtable today, with questions thrown into the middle of the table for open discussion. These are our favorite Women In Business Luncheons because we learn the most through roundtables. Roundtables bring up topics that you may have had questions about for a long time; bring solutions to problems you may be having in the workplace that you didn't even know how to tackle; and just fantastic conversations.

🌞 Good morning, everyone! 🌞

I am Charles Durant, the Senior Pastor here at First United Methodist Church of Cushing, and I have some great news to share about our Summer Food Box Program!

The Oklahoma Regional Food Bank has approved us to start our program early, following the conclusion of the Cushing Schools summer food program on June 19th.

Starting Monday, June 22nd (from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM):
Anyone with children ages 18 and under can come to the church to pick up a free food box. Each box contains 5 days' worth of shelf-stable breakfast and lunch meals.

We are so blessed to be able to serve our community this summer. Please help us spread the word by sharing this post with families who could benefit!

"We only have one day supply of O-negative on the shelf. We sent some to help Midland TX this week after the mass shooting.

A mass shooting in Midland, Texas created an urgent need for blood.
As a member of BERC (Blood Emergency Readiness Corps), OBI stands with blood centers across the country to respond when disasters and emergencies occur. Additional blood support was needed and we stepped in to help ensure patients received the lifesaving blood they needed.
Now, our own O-negative blood supply is running low, and we need YOU.
O-negative blood is often the first blood used in emergencies and trauma situations because it can be transfused to patients of any blood type. As we helped support the response in Texas, our local O-negative inventory was further strained.
Without more O-negative donors responding, we may soon need to bring in O-negative blood from outside our region to meet local patient needs.

The need is immediate.

If you are an O-negative donor, please schedule your donation today. Your donation can help ensure lifesaving blood is available for patients in our communities and ready when the next emergency occurs.

Today, Thursday June 11, Friday, June 12, and Saturday, June 13 we are hosting the Payne County Election Board in our office, 1301 E. Main St., for Early Voting for any registered Payne County Voter!
Stop by our office and get your voting done on your schedule either today or tomorrow from 8 am - 6 pm, or Saturday from 8 am - 2 pm.
If you don't catch the early voting, you can vote during the Primaries Election on Tuesday, June 16 at your polling location, 7 am - 7 pm.
