North Carolina Kids Walk for Kids with Cancer Kids Walk for Kids with Cancer is a non-profit orginization where all funds go strictly to Pediatric Cancer research at Memorial Sloan Kettering Center.

Kids Walk for Kids with Cancer is a four mile walk that has taken place in New York City for the past ten years, and all the money raised goes strictly to Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, to treat Pediatric Cancer. The Memorial Sloan Kettering Center is the world's oldest and largerst cancer
center. Cancer is the leading cause of death by disease in kids, and so in 2010
some students from

Currituck decided they wanted to make a change and start our very own walk in Currituck. The walk has taken place annually since then and has continued to grow. NC Kids Walk for Kids with Cancer has raised over $30,000 for Pediatric cancer, and we continue to stress that even the littlest things can add up to make a huge change!

Remember to come out to Kids Walk today at the Judicial Center! Registration begins at 1:30 and we'll start walking soon after. If you can't donate, please still come to show tryout support!

If you're a student at CCHS, please join us tomorrow in Lecture Room A during the B lunch for a Kids Walk meeting! We will be working on posters as well as taking up any money you have collected. There will be snacks and we will be focusing on preparing for the Walk! Please bring any friends, and hope to see you all there!
