Congratulations to Bread of Life Assistant Director David Meeks for being recognized with the Graves County Pioneer Award at the 145th Annual Fancy Farm Picnic on August 2nd! David has been an active member of the Bread of Life since its inception in 2005. He spends countless hours in hands-on assistance in disaster relief efforts as well as serving as an outspoken public relations advocate for our organization. This recognition is well-deserved for David's Christlike heart of love and service. We are most blessed to know him and work beside him.❤️

Bread of Life board members David Meeks, Pauline Ivey, Tim Pierce, Delbert Curtis and Jeff Jones recently delivered backpacks filled with school supplies to four schools in West Tennessee for students in need. Thank you to all of our churches and individuals that donate these supplies and assist in assembling these kits for distribution!

Volunteers worked last week to assemble 105 infant kits that will be delivered to disaster affected areas and/or pregnancy care centers where needed. Our next assembly will be in September when we put together school supply kits. Many hands make light work and provide our volunteers the opportunity to serve with other brothers and sisters in Christ.

One of our area's best kept secrets, established in 2005, is the Bread of Life Humanitarian Effort, located in Lowes, Kentucky. A ministry of the churches of Christ, Bread of Life has donated manpower, cleaning supplies, food and other necessities to thousands of people in need across our nation and world. We are a 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. We are entirely funded by the generosity of donation from churches, businesses and individuals. We are a 100% volunteer organization so ALL DONATIONS BENEFIT THOSE IN NEED.

Bread of Life travels to disaster areas across the United States to offer support for the hardest hit disaster areas. Over the years, we have responded to many major disaster areas including those caused by hurricanes, tornados, floods, fires and other natural or man-made disasters.
