Our next educational tree walk will be on June 4, a Thursday, beginning at 5:30 pm at Charleston Park.



We will meet in the parking lot located next to the restrooms at 9:30am. Master Naturalists and Master Gardeners will earn Continuing Education hours for participating. If you are interested in participating in this walk, please sign up using the following the Extension Office’s computer link: https://forms.gle/R3UaUXG8opUhUDmg6

Last week the Bird Box Monitoring team installed 2 additional boxes at Chattahoochee Point Park. Along with carrying all the necessary equipment out to the location, the team collects data on the direction and compass reading, the box height above the ground, and the habitat where the box is located for NestWatch. That day we saw some Prothonotary Warbler (pic), Carolina Wren, and House Wren eggs and Tree Swallow chicks!
