First, a heartfelt thank you to all the masters, instructors, competitors, referees, and families who joined us for the 2026 Moohan Open Championships on May 9th! Your passion, spirit, and support made last year’s event truly unforgettable.

We are excited to announce that our gym reservation is official! We are already hard at work preparing to deliver an even better, more organized, and thrilling championship experience for everyone in 2027.

Dear Masters, Instructors, Coaches, Competitors, and Families,

On behalf of the entire Moohan Open staff and tournament committee, we would like to sincerely thank all of you for participating in the 2026 Moohan Open Taekwondo Championships last Saturday, May 9th.

We truly appreciate every school, instructor, coach, athlete, and family who traveled to support and take part in our event. Your energy, sportsmanship, and support helped make this tournament a memorable experience for everyone involved.

Due to an unexpectedly large number of registrations, several last-minute referee absences caused by personal circumstances, and the challenges of coordinating tournament operations throughout the day, we understand that there were delays and areas where the event could have run more smoothly. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Despite those challenges, we are grateful for the many positive comments and encouraging feedback we have received from participating schools and families. It means a great deal to our entire team.

We are always open to hearing feedback from Masters and instructors. While it may not be possible to implement every suggestion, please know that we carefully listen to all feedback and will continue working hard to improve and organize an even better and smoother tournament next year.

Thank you once again for your patience, understanding, and support of the Moohan Open Taekwondo Championships. We hope to see all of you again next year.

Limited at-the-door registration will be available on event day:

$160 per event division

Please arrive early if you plan to register at the door.

2026 Moohan Championships is only 3 days away!

Based on the final competitor count for each division, we have now updated the detailed Processing Schedule for all events.

Please review the attached schedule carefully and share it with students and parents so everyone can better prepare for tournament day.

Important Reminder:
This year, competitor age is calculated by:

2026 – Birth Year

(Example: A student born in 2016 will compete in the 10-year-old division even if their birthday has not passed yet.)

Please arrive early and be ready before your estimated event time.

**Registration Update**
• Early Bird CLOSED (April 25)
• Online Registration OPEN until May 6
• Limited on-site registration available, but **we strongly recommend registering online by May 6**

**Age Division Reminder (VERY IMPORTANT)**
To avoid confusion with event times, please make sure all students know their correct division:

• New system (same as WT / USAT / AAU)
• Age = **2026 – Birth Year**
• Birthday does NOT matter
Example: Born in 2008 = **18 years old division**

**Coach & Staff Entry**
• Only **registered coaches** allowed on the competition floor
• All coaches must complete **online coach registration**
• Each school owner/head instructor receives **1 complimentary coach pass**

Please maintain a professional appearance:
• No slippers or hats on the competition floor
• Proper coaching/professional attire required
