On Thursday morning, some of our Marketing and Development team met with faithful supporters of No Longer Bound at Coffee That Matters by Phoenix Roasters.

We spent time sharing our stories and our shared heart for serving men facing addiction and mental health challenges as we gathered around the table to brainstorm ways the community can engage at every stage of care—from men currently in the program to life after graduation.

We are deeply grateful for those who invest in this mission and stand with us in this work. Your generosity and commitment make this possible, and we do not take it for granted.

“Also, seek the peace and prosperity of the city to which I have carried you... Pray to the Lord for it, because if it prospers, you too will prosper.” — Jeremiah 29:7

Congratulations to our newest Brother of the Week, Parker! 👏⭐

Parker has done a fantastic job accomplishing the goals he set out to during his time here at No Longer Bound. He has set an example to the other brothers about what can be achieved through faith, transparency and hard work.

He is also a member of the culinary team and shares that one of his favorite aspects of the program is "going through this process with my friends. For the first time in a long time I feel like I'm part of a team again, I know they have my back no matter what I'm going through, and I certainly have theirs too."

“Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.” — Romans 12:10

We are so grateful to Passion City Church for coming out to No Longer Bound this past Saturday!

We shared an afternoon of grilling, pickleball, and meaningful fellowship, a reminder that community is one of God’s greatest gifts.

As part of their “Love Atlanta” initiative, Passion City is living out a call to serve Atlanta with the love of Jesus. Thank you so much for your service and for coming out and spending time with us. We had a blast!

“Let us not love with words or speech but with actions and in truth.” — 1 John 3:18

The entire No Longer Bound community comes together for a time of prayer. Staff and residents gather, seeking God’s wisdom, guidance, and provision over the men in the program and the mission we carry.

Community prayer reminds us that no one has to walk through recovery by themselves. Whether praying for strength, peace, guidance, or breakthrough, these moments of unity help build a deeper fellowship and stronger foundations for lasting transformation.

“For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them.” — Matthew 18:20

The No Longer Bound Culinary Team is where service, fellowship, and recovery come together.

Under the leadership of Chef Ed, each day begins around the table with prayer, encouragement, and honest conversation. The men check in with one another about the challenges they're facing, their recovery journeys, and their walk with Christ. Through mentorship, accountability, and teamwork, they learn the importance of healing through connection.

Together, they prepare meals for our residents, coordinate food donations, and serve others with care and purpose. Along the way, Chef Ed helps model what it means to lead with humility, work with excellence, and keep Christ at the center of everything they do.

The lessons learned in the kitchen extend far beyond culinary skills. The men learn what it means to be part of something bigger than themselves, serving others while growing in faith, character, and recovery.

“For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve…” — Mark 10:45

Tucked away on our campus, the Prayer Garden offers a peaceful retreat from the busyness of life at No Longer Bound. Built by dedicated volunteers and community members and lovingly maintained by the men in our program, this special space serves as a place for prayer, reflection, and quiet time with God.

Whether working on an assignment, journaling, or simply spending time in stillness, many of our brothers find encouragement here. It's a reminder that transformation often happens in the quiet moments when we pause, listen, and draw near to the Lord.

“But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.” — Luke 5:16

Congratulations to Chris, our newest Brother of the Week! In his eight months at No Longer Bound, Chris has experienced incredible growth both personally and spiritually. With determination and a strong work ethic, he has become a consistent leader within our fellowship, using his energy and enthusiasm to encourage and strengthen those around him.

One of the biggest turning points in Chris’s journey has been learning to come out of isolation and trust others again. By embracing community and connection, he has made meaningful progress in both his recovery and his faith. "The opportunities to connect are all around us, I just had to change my perspective."

We’re grateful for the example Chris sets and excited to see how God continues to work in his life.

“If either of them falls down, one can help the other up...” — Ecclesiastes 4:10

Thank you to Midway United Methodist Church for welcoming us into your services on Sunday. We are grateful for the opportunity for two of our brothers to courageously share their testimonies and stories of hope.

Partnerships like these remind our men that they are not walking this journey alone. Through the support of local churches, they experience the power of Christian community, meaningful connection, and healthy routines that help build a strong foundation for lasting recovery.

Thank you for showing our men what it looks like to be surrounded by the love, grace, and fellowship of Christ.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

Take me out to the ballgame!!⚾🌟

Thank you so much to our volunteers from Perimeter Church for taking us out to watch the Gwinnett Stripers defeat the Norfolk Tides 6-4 on Saturday night. From great ballpark food and exciting plays to plenty of laughs and meaningful conversations, it was a night filled with fellowship and fun.

Experiences like these are an important part of recovery. They remind our men that life in recovery isn't just about overcoming the past. It's about building a future filled with healthy relationships, community, and joy. Moments of connection and encouragement help strengthen hope and show what's possible through God's grace.

Thank you to our volunteers for showing our men what genuine community looks like and for reminding them that they are supported, valued, and never walking this journey alone.

“A cheerful heart is good medicine...” — Proverbs 17:22

A special thank you to F3 for coming out Saturday morning for a tough work out and men's breakfast!

F3 faithfully supports our residents in both their recovery and faith journeys through peer-led workouts every Monday and Wednesday, monthly "Beatdown" workouts and breakfasts, and opportunities to participate in events like the recent "Hillseeker" and "Helenback" races.

The impact goes far beyond fitness. For many of our men, F3 has played a significant role in rebuilding their lives—helping them reconnect through camaraderie, fellowship, faith, accountability, teamwork, and shared accomplishment. Through every workout, conversation, and challenge, they are reminded that they are not alone.

For our residents, F3 represents more than Faith, Fellowship, and Fitness. It represents hope, connection, and the confidence of knowing they have a team standing beside them.

Thank you, F3, for investing in our men and helping make transformation possible. 💙

“But those who hope in the Lord will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary...” — Isaiah 40:31
