Project Warm up Atlanta

****WE ARE STILL ACCEPTING PHYSICAL & CASH DONATIONS THROUGH NEXT MONDAY DECEMBER 23rd******

For those of you that might not be “in the know”, my family operates a legit 501-3c known as Project Warm up Atlanta. With the help and support of numerous friends, co workers, volunteers, various organization’s we have spent the past decade packing enclosed trailers full of warm clothing/sleeping bags etc and heading down to Atlanta on Thanksgiving to “warm up” those in need. This year we have decided to ALSO make a trip down on Christmas Eve and we NEED YOUR HELP TO MAKE THIS HAPPEN.

It’s truly amazing to see the appreciation from so many good people who have fallen on hard times in their lives and know we are making a small difference in their life.

If you would like to help support our mission we are happy to accept donations now through WEDNESDAY November 27th
You can drop donations off at Vengeance Racing located at 241 Castleberry Industrial Drive, Cu***ng Ga or at our home residence. Please message me for address if you do not have it already.
If you wish to make a financial donation you are welcome to provide cash/check or PayPal [email protected]

PLEASE limit donations to coats/jackets/gloves/hats/shoes/socks/hygiene kits/toiletries/warm clothing. We accept donations for men, women and children of all ages. New OR used items are appreciated.

This not an opportunity to clean out your closets and purge bikinis/underwear/summer clothing etc. Please help us be as efficient as possible by sticking to the outlined items above.
Again we are a registered 501-3c so all donations are tax deductible. If you know of any corporations interested in donating please contact me.

We go shopping a few days before Thanksgiving and post pics & video of all items purchased from your generosity.

It’s that time of year again!!!! We are actually a few weeks late getting started, but with the overwhelming amount of support we get each year we have complete confidence we will be able to help many many folks.

One of the many keys to a happy/successful life is surrounding yourself with good people. I try to do this in both my personal and professional life. I am fortunate to have the folks in this picture in both. Phil Beniamino is a personal friend of mine. He is also the owner of Cost Plus Processing LLC and has handled Vengeance Racings credit card processing for nearly a dozen years. We became friends after doing years of business together as he has always been great to me and treated me extremely fair in an industry that it is very easy to be taken advantage of.

Phil called me the morning of Thanksgiving and asked me if I could meet him at my shop. He explained he was on his way back from Atlanta with his family and that they had taken warm food/clothing etc and spent time talking with folks lifting their spirits and warming their souls. He wanted his family to meet me and tell them about Project Warm Up Atlanta and a bit about my childhood.

I of course obliged and wanted to thank them for their efforts as well. Little did I know that they had an overly generous surprise for me. After we were done talking Phil’s son Rocco presented me with a check for $2500.00 to go toward PWA!!! I was completely floored, but also honored as this money will help SO many people!!!

Project Warm Up 2022 is a wrap!! This year was extra special for me as not only did we Misty,myself, Caydin, Bryson, Jaxson but my mom, my sister, her husband and their two daughters joined us for the first time ever. As with everyone who comes out to join us it was an eye opening and emotional experience.

We spent a lot of time just talking to the people we met this year and learning more about their situations and understanding what led them to being on the streets. Everyone we met was extremely appreciative and thankful and embraced the fact we wanted to spend time with them.

We also met another group of ladies that were hitting the streets for their first year serving dozens upon dozens of warm home cooked Thanksgiving meals. Kiara Crane was leading the charge with her recently organized www.GraceNestInc.com …. We are already working to partner together next year for an even more impactful day warming the souls of those less fortunate.

I cannot thank each of you who support our families cause year in and year out. It does not matter if you donate $5.00, clean out your closet and drop off some warm clothing, help us sort and organize the donations or show up and spread the warmth downtown, we truly appreciate you and could not do what we do without you.

We had another amazing experience this year, but it is deserving of its own post so I will follow up in the coming days 🙏

We are prepped and ready to head to Atlanta tomorrow!!! Thank everyone who donated their time/items/money!!! We cannot do this without you!!!

Due to 100% chance of rain tomorrow we have decided to post pone our trip to Atlanta. I do not want our volunteers sick on Christmas and even more so I don’t feel like we will have the outreach we typically have as most folks will be sheltering from the weather and not “out and about” as normal.

We will likely have to wait until after the new year to reschedule due to our travel plans over the next couple of weeks, but I will post up as soon as we have a date locked in.

200 sleeping bags have arrived for our Christmas Eve drop this year. Remember if you have any gently used shoes, coats or blankets to donate we would love to have them.
