Hello all. Were going to be bringing Bill Rodgers AKA Boston Billy to our 2013 Fast Pace Race. Bill is former marathon American record holder at 209.27. He’s also the only person to win the Boston and New York City marathons 4 times each. A World 10k road course record holder at 28.36.3B. A world XC medalist and one of only 4 American men to every do so. He won 22 marathons in his competitive career. Bill is also a prostate cancer survivor and a firm believer that screening saves lives.

Craig Virgin also stopped by Phidippides in Sandy Springs and had about 20 runners that were more his age and 10 younger ones. The Big surprise with seeing and old friend Jeff Galloway.

We had over 120 runners come out tonight at West Stride Running Co. to meet Craig Virgin. Craig said the most interesting part to him was most weren't even born when he last won the Peachtree Road Race. Great turn out thanks to West Stride and the Beltline Run Club.
