Hi KCK friends!

Just a quick update. After several travel changes due to hurricane Irma, Kaylee arrived in the Dominican Republic on Monday September 11th! This is the first of five countries she will be traveling to over the next nine months. For the next month or so Kaylee's team will be working at H.O.P.E. for DR. You can follow their page if you are interested in some of the work this World Race team is doing.

Hi friends of Kaylee's Coats for Kids, this is Kaylee! In December I got a call saying that I was accepted into The World Race Gap Year Program! I will be taking a gap year, which basically means instead of going to college right away I will be traveling on a nine month mission trip around the world! I am SOOO pumped about this. A random thought on this beautiful January day... KCK passed out 60-70 coats over the holidays. Thanks to everyone who has donated to us and to those who help in making sure these coats are put in the hands of the kids who are cold.

Know how you get so upset when your kid leaves their coat at school? And that coat finds a new home in lost and found - most of the time never to be found again?

Well, KCK LOVES when that happens!!! :) Thanks to the schools who donate unclaimed lost and found items to KCK! We make sure all of those coats find a body to keep warm!
