Today, November 1st, 2025, TSC of Freehome, Georgia presented our chapter 1030, of the Vietnam Veterans of America, a donation check in the amount of $500.
We graciously accepted the donation which will be used to support Veterans and members of our community in need.
Thank You TSC for your honoring Veterans and our organization and its mission.

Chapter 1030 of the Vietnam Veterans of America will be at Lakewood 400 Antiques Mall, located at 1321 Atlanta Highway (SR #9) in Cu***ng, GA. We will have a booth adjacent to the Food Concession in the lobby on Friday, Jun 5th, 2026, and Saturday, Jun 6th, 2026, from 9am to 6 pm. On Sunday, Jun 7th, 2026, we are open from 10 am to 5 pm. We will accept donations and sell raffle tickets for our 2026 Fundraiser Raffle, which supports our Veterans Assistance Programs, Community Outreach Programs, and College Scholarship Program.

Your Support is greatly appreciated and allows us to benefit those in need. Stop by, and say hello! Thanks to all those patrons who support our organization, and a BIG thank you to our Veteran Brothers and Sisters on duty at our stand throughout the year. Thank You All!

Jan Edwards gave Jim Garrard an update last night. The Dr. stated that Joe is still on the ventilator in a medical induced coma, and is expected to be in that condition for at least two more days. The nurses are rotating him from side to side on the bed to prevent, I assume bed sores. The Dr. further states that Joe should be okay. They have changed his medication to make him more comfortable and less agitated.

I hope that all had a memorable Veterans Day and took the time to honor our fellow Brothers and Sisters.
Our chapter also commemorated today with the conclusion of our 2024 Fundraising Raffle. We want to thank all our patrons who purchased raffle tickets or donated to support the many Veteran and Community Outreach programs we support. We also want to thank all our dedicated Brothers who volunteered to man venues that supported us. We want to give special recognition to Brother Steve Masak for his eight years of continued support in providing major portions of the funds generated.
