Brethren it is with heartfelt sadness that I report the passing of WB Randolph Cagle. He has laid down his working tools and passed to the celestial lodge above. WB Cagle was a senior member of Ducktown Masonic Lodge # 572 and previously a member of Matt # 694 and GA Mtn Daylight #758. He was also a member of the Forsyth County Masonic Association and the Widows' Fund. WB Cagle was an upstanding member of the community and served the country with honor and distinction. Please pray for the Cagle family as they work through the arrangements.
***Mason’s…..Please plan a Masonic funeral for Friday, 2/27/26, at 2 pm, graveside at Sawnee View Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday, 2/26/26, 3pm - 8pm, and will resume Friday, 2/27, at 10 am until the funeral service in the Chapel at 2 pm at Ingram’s Funeral Home in Cu***ng, GA***

For our December (12/9) meeting, we decided to do something a little different.
Instead of a meal we will have a time of fellowship before our meeting. If you are able to attend at 6:30, we ask that you bring about 20-25 individually wrapped holiday treats. These could be fudge, brownies, cookies, candy canes, miniature Hershey's, etc.
Then, those who wish to participate will each get one of your treats and you go around and get one of each of theirs. Everyone will go home with a variety treat bag.
The chapter will provide hot cocoa and spiced cider.

Our very own Margaret Holland was our special guest speaker for Friends night. She put together a wonderful program using the star points in a unique way and tying them together with colorful ribbons. Then she had special presentations for those who had travelled the furthest to attend our meeting. She gave them each a "friend" to travel home with them. It was a special evening. Thanks Patti for the photo's.

Tonight was a special meal. The Grand Master of Georgia visited LaFayette Lodge #44. We had the pleasure of serving the meal. It was a real pleasure meeting Mr. Bradley and enjoyed hearing him talk about Freemasonry and it's future.
