Some hens come when they’re called…
This one comes when she hears a bag crinkle from 50 yards away.

If there’s a treat in your hand, she knew about it five minutes ago.
If there might be a treat? She’s willing to investigate.

She’s quick, clever, and completely devoted… as long as snacks are involved.

But here’s the thing—she’s not just in it for the goodies.
She’s learned your rhythm, your little routines. She knows when you’re about to reach into that bucket before you even do.

And like clockwork, there she is—right on cue, ready, hopeful, and just a little bit dramatic if you’re taking too long.

You can count on her. Every single time.

Because being dependable doesn’t always look serious…
sometimes it looks like a happy little hen showing up again and again, just in case there’s something to share.

And thanks to girls like her, there always is 💛🥚

🥹 .. last year’s flock.. and oh the memories!!
In less than a week, we will have another 15 hens settling in at our farm. We are beyond excited! 🥰 🐣
In the meantime, we continue to spoil our girls (and our one gentleman) who are diligently supplying many members of our community with healthy, farm fresh eggs!

This began with a simple idea—
to share fresh eggs with elderly members of our community who may need a little extra support.

No big production. No complicated system.
Just care, consistency, and community.

Our hens are already hard at work, and we’re proud to begin delivering fresh eggs—one dozen at a time.
