We were honored to welcome Congressman David Trone to the Carver Community Center today and receive $1,000,000 in community project funding! This will allow us to move forward in the building restoration and renovation. He was accompanied by MD-6 congressional candidate April Delaney. It is important to vote for those who strongly support projects in smaller communities.

CLEAN-OUT HAS BEGUN!!!
A big THANK YOU to Briarside Haul-Away and Contracting for taking on this Herculean task! Vandals created quite a mess and the first step in renovation will be completed by the end of the week. Historical documents and memorabilia have been safely stored, and we are looking forward to The Carver Center’s rebirth!
